This elegant dining train offers you a chance to experience a journey back into time, to the era of the late 1940's. The zephyr has 5 carefully restored dining cars, each with it's own design and color, recreating the prestigious railroad dining of decades gone by.

This exciting adventure and romantic journey takes three and a half hours, departing from historic Stillwater and travels along the river, streams and woodland bluffs of the beautiful St. Croix River Valley. They have an afternoon and dinner excursion, both being identical, each tour features a superb five course meal, guests can select their own choice from four delectable entrees.

Your Journey - is designed for a relaxed atmosphere ideal for beverages including cocktails while viewing the scenery, especially in the evening when the coach lights turn the night into day.The Grand Dome - The one of a kind Grand Dome has 80 feet of glass and for a small additional charge you can be included in a select group of 56 guests enjoying first cabin service in the magnificent dining area. The St. Croix Dome Club car, at the opposite end of the train, is open to all guests that wish to smoke. The Northern Winds car was built in 1949 and is one of the five restored dining cars. Each car is different in design and color.
